Job Title: Post Production Technician - Project Employee
Location: Los Angeles, CA

Description:
Lifetime Television seeks a technically skilled and detail-oriented Post Production Technician for its Post Production facility located in our LA corporate office. The candidate will support the facility by performing various videotape operations as assigned.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not restricted to the following:
*Digitizing and output for Avid editing sessions
*Duplication to/from various videotape formats; quality control of same.
*Perform up conversions, down conversions and cross conversions of SD and HD content.
*Perform real-time feeds and file transfers between LA and NY facilities.
*Interface with Director of Operations, Scheduling/Duplication Coordinator, Avid Media Coordinator and Librarian as appropriate.
*Shift work is mandatory
*Must be available to work overtime and weekends as necessary
Required Experience:
* Demonstrated technical experience required.
*Knowledge of all phases of videotape operation and equipment is essential, including Digital Betacam, HDCAM, DVCPro HD, HDV, DV and DVD.
*Outstanding communication and customer service skills
*Experience with deadline oriented projects.
*Computer proficiency
*Knowledge of related audio/video test equipment
