Description

In this role you will perform duties as a Storekeeper in the Laundry & Linen department to supportpatient care units and clinics, including the procedural interventional, and radiology areas.This position orders, receives, distributes, and delivers linen, supplies, and equipmentas assigned within facilities at UCLA Health System established by management.

Responsibilitiesinclude:

  • Stock, clean, and organize in the inventory holding rooms and other work areas
  • Fill orders, pack, deliver, create and maintain appropriate inventory documentation
  • Perform physical inventory counts and accurate data entry
  • Work closely with the clinical staff to identify their needs and staging preferences
  • Set up and/or modify products within a supply management software
  • Place orders using a handheld or third party software to replenish inventory to set PARS
  • Reconcile packing slips against orders and delivered content

Salary Range: $21.27-25.45 Hourly
Qualifications

Required:

  • Ability to perform heavy manual tasks including push/pull up to 400 pounds, and lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to strictly obey the healthcare regulations for infection control.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational and facilitation skills with a strong customer service emphasis.
  • Consistently demonstrates a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated basic knowledge of materials management information system and other vendor software.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
  • Ability to consistently adhere to Materials Management and UCLA Policies and procedures.
  • Ability to attend all in-services, workshops, classes, and drills as requested.
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend standard English.
  • Maintains a positive attitude and behavior: efficient with time utilization/productive, strives to be a team member, prompt attitude, adapts to change in workload,
  • Flexible work schedule; adapt to variable rotating shifts.
