About the Team:

This role sits within our Platform and Enterprise Products organization for FIS, responsible for further building out our enterprise product strategy. By creating an open, next-generation fintech platform, FIS expands its solution offerings that can be embedded in any application that supports our clients' financial services processes - from payments to banking to wealth to capital markets.

About the Role:

The objective of the Fraud & Risk GTM Strategy & Planning Manager is to effectively position Platform fraud and risk to drive market adoption, enable all FIS sales channels and ensure the products are well-positioned to achieve commercial success in market.

You will be responsible for overall market readiness of a set of fraud and risk products and also for planning, developing and implementing commercial strategies based on our business unit targets and objectives. You will be a strategic and key partner for Product, Sales, and Customer Success teams.

What You Will Be Doing:

Product Positioning

  • Effectively segment customer needs (both for the consumer and the partner) in order to inform future market and product positioning
  • Provide market and voice of customer feedback to inform product roadmap
  • Identify use cases and product bundles to effectively drive entry into key target verticals
  • Determine value proposition and optimization for each distribution channel
  • Identify new growth opportunities through data and research

Operational Readiness

  • Work with internal teams and third-party partners to validate readiness of all aspects of the client experience including but not limited to: onboarding, servicing, billing, reporting and ramp/revenue attainment for new products and services
  • Continuous review and analysis of processes to drive improvement of customer experience and time to revenue
  • Identify and measure key performance indicators

Sales Readiness

  • Work with legal to finalize any legal addendums for new product/service
  • Validate pricing alignment and readiness for sales consumption
  • Identify all teams that will sell the new product
  • Assess and update any necessary changes to sales process including deal valuation, deal approvals, incentive compensation structure, etc
  • Drive creation of sales materials
  • Work with internal teams to create and deliver sales training
  • Create training materials for internal teams and external distribution partners

Market Readiness

  • Work with marketing to create all marketing materials
  • Work with internal teams to define and approve any Press Releases
  • Identify and enable marketing campaigns

What You Need:

  • Bachelor's Degree and 6+ years of deep experience and understanding of go to market strategies and product commercial enablement in thought-leadership roles
  • Experience and strong understanding of fraud, risk and compliance within financial services
  • Proven success in execution and process improvement within a matrixed environment
  • Ability to work cross-functionally across several internal teams as well as external customers and partners
  • Experience in thinking strategically about business growth and how to organize/manage across multiple entities
  • Strong executive presence, communication and leading through influence skills
  • Comfortability in managing complex situations and ambiguity

  • Experience in sales, marketing, product strategy and/or product development is a plus

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $115,310.00 - $193,710.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
